It’s mildly amusing that out of all the blogs I have, this one seems to get the most spam, despite it being probably the one with the most infrequent updates. Well OK, this one probably is the most “public” of all =p

Nonetheless.
I’m happy to say that I’ve successfully obtained my BA in English Language and Asian Area Studies from that university on the west coast, of which its abbreviated may signify “used beverage container” according to our beloved Wikipedia.
The “alumni booklet” that I received after my convocation certainly did suggest that one may mistaken it to be a “broadcasting company in Uzbekistan,” though all I found from Wikipedia that was close to that was the Uganda Broadcasting Corporation, but that’s aside from the point.
Yes, thank you Wikipedia, you always have some way of amusing me.

Usually my posts won’t consist of political material, simply because I don’t feel comfortable discussing political issues, especially if it’s something I don’t really have enough knowledge and/or confidence talking about it.
However, I found this to be somewhat amusing.

I was at a meeting at one of my workplaces, and we were having a casual conversation about the US elections. My supervisor was talking about Obama, so I mentioned that Obama City (in Fukui prefecture, Japan), was “unofficially” supporting Obama, just because (need I say more?)
Then, one of the other advisors mentioned how a company in Fukui City, a city near Obama, made the glasses Sarah Palin was wearing, and was thus (supposedly) supportive of the Republicans.
Coincidence? Probably, but yes, rather amusing.

On some other randomness: So is this what the cat at my old host family’s place was trying to do to me when she tried to hop on my legs or something?
