on spending time at work

I started typing this at work “earlier today,” right around quarter to 1am or something, which meant I ended up hitting the sack at like, 2:30am – yay for me and me (half-)deliberately choosing a shift that goes on till this late *sigh*

Despite that, I *did* manage to wake up at a proper time and got to class at a reasonable time.
I don’t know whether I should feel fortunate that it hasn’t been that much of an eventful night at work – of course, the less busy it is, the quieter (and hopefully safer) the campus is, and it did make my life somewhat easier.
However:
- I woke up rather early this morning from abdominal pain; it’s really not the most pleasant way to be woken up, and I can’t go back to sleep because the moment I lie back down, I get hit with displeasing pain – crap, what the hell *did* I eat/drink last night that’d do this to me!?
- because I woke up at a bit of a random time, the moment I get back home after class, I end up crashing and I end up waking up at 9pm – yes, what an awesome time to take a nap, now I’m not going to be able to sleep tonight *cough*

On some random notes: so, as some of you may already know, I’ll be getting the heck out of UBC in about 4 months.
Me being lazy and all, I ended up booking my appointments for my grad photos after I got back in town (ie. before the break). I didn’t go nuts and started panicking about not making the deadline, but nonetheless, I thought I barely made it. As a matter of fact, Artona, the studio doing Asian Studies, was getting almost completely booked for January and February – by the time I booked, all weekend time slots were booked.
Now, English on the other hand… seems to be changing their deadlines continuously. Initially they said it was due by end of January (which I totally ended up not making by the way), and then when I called, they tell me it got pushed to end of February. Now I get an email from the department saying it’s due at end of March.
……now I’m kinda debating about changing my appointment time since I now realize I might have something going on the day I’m getting my photo taken =p
